Pumpkin Thierry This leaden doom album is a total achievement. It's overall dark and heavy but uses many colors: traditional doom, heavy psych, black metal, epic. The compositions are improbable architectures where the vocals change according to the contexts, clear, warm, soft, brutal, growl. I knew you could hypnotize someone with a pendulum, I didn't know you could hypnotize someone with an anvil!

FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Heavy spaced-out psych metal with vocals sung in the bands native tongue, it's sonic impact is akin to being hit by a truck and then looking up to see Matt Pike sitting at the wheel being fed LSD by Timothy Leary in the passenger seat Favorite track: Alchemik.

As amazing as their first album was (Father of Time), this one is even better. Gnome produces genius-level guitar work and you've got to hear it!
